Station directory source
The current directory contains 34 road-accessible petroleum facility records spatially located inside Flagler County. The state source also contains a marina, which is excluded because this directory is designed for drivers.
Names, addresses, coordinates, and record status come from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services — Petroleum Facilities. The state dataset was updated 2025-11-03 and accessed for this directory on 2026-07-11.
What “State record: open” means
It describes the status in the state facility dataset. It is not a real-time promise that a store is open, powered, accessible, or carrying every grade. Records labeled “Confirm before travel” require an additional current check.
Price observation policy
- Every price needs a fuel grade, price per gallon, observation time, and payment basis.
- Posted, cash, credit, loyalty, and membership prices are treated as different offers.
- The default lowest-price ranking includes only current posted or credit prices. Cash, loyalty, membership, and payment-unknown values stay visible but are not presented as the universal cheapest offer.
- Community reports are stored in a private moderation queue and do not publish automatically.
- Reports under 12 hours old are fresh; 12–24 hours are aging.
- Prices over 24 hours old may remain visible as stale history but never rank as “cheapest now.”
- When evidence is insufficient, the public value remains “Price unavailable.”
Price sources and timestamps
Operator-listed prices are checked directly on official station pages. When an operator does not publish a separate update time, the page clearly shows the time Flagler Gas checked the listing—not an invented pump-report time. Community observations show the time supplied by the reporter after editorial approval.
A scheduled job checks the U.S. Energy Information Administration's Florida gasoline series every day. EIA publishes these statewide averages weekly, so the stored value changes only when EIA releases or revises a period. The benchmark is displayed as market context and never assigned to a station or used in the local lowest-price ranking.
Station-level automation remains disabled until a provider agreement—preferably OPISNAVX or iExit—expressly permits public website display, storage, history, and price comparison. The daily job already includes a validated, idempotent adapter for that future feed, but it cannot publish licensed data until credentials and written rights are configured.
Flagler Gas does not scrape Google Maps, GasBuddy, AAA, RaceTrac, Wawa, 7‑Eleven, or other restricted sites. Their public pages are not treated as permission for automated commercial republication. See the privacy policy, terms of use, and source register for operational details.
Location privacy
The browser requests location only after a visitor selects “Use My Location.” The current directory calculates straight-line distance in the browser and does not transmit or save that location.
Corrections
Station operators and residents can report a price or correction. A report is a lead for review, not proof by itself. “Reviewed” means an editor approved the observation for display; it is not a guarantee that the pump has not changed since. Paid sponsorship never changes factual prices, freshness labels, or default price rankings.
